Prisoner of Azkaban. I love all of the actors chosen to portray the characters in this book, added with the loss and replacement of one Dumbledore (for the Greater Good) made for a perfect cast, not including our young favored actors and actress because we all know they struggle about 80% of the time with over acting…. Or simple stupidity. But we must not hold them completely responsible for continuing to plague us with their high school stage performances because the directors are supposed to prevent these things from happening. I watch this one most often because of the performances by Gary Oldman, Alan Rickman, David Thewlis and the rest of the adult cast. The story line is fairly accurate, only obviously deviating once or twice in almost forgivable ways. At Least they didn’t burn down the Burrow in this one or make some one drink truth serum. It’s been so long since I watched the past three movies that I really couldn’t say what other heinous acts were committed against the historical account. 1-3 are done well enough for even a stickler to the pages like me to be able to enjoy.
